Tim is the Senior Vice President, Legal and Assistant General Counsel for the Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (HOFREco) in Canton, Ohio. Prior to coming to HOFREco, Tim worked as Director of Legal and Business Affairs at the XFL where he was responsible for drafting, negotiating, and reviewing business-critical transactions across the league office, including sponsorships and other sales agreements, vendor and service provider agreements, technology and data use agreements, and licensing agreements. Prior to that, he served as a Business Affairs Executive at Endeavor (formerly known as WME-IMG) where he advised on a wide variety of business and legal issues for clients across the golf, tennis and Olympic athlete verticals. Earlier in his career he served as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer for a few professional sports franchises in Major League Lacrosse, the National Lacrosse League and the Arena Football League.
Kelly earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where he was a board member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University where he played on the varsity men’s lacrosse team.
Tim and his wife, Kelly (yes, her name is Kelly Kelly), have two children - Brayden and Rylie. They currently reside in Jackson Township, Canton, Ohio.
