Lisa Gould has been employed by the Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Co. since August of 2020, currently as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Information Technology. Lisa oversees strategic and operational HR & IT functions. With a proven track record of managing rapid growth, Lisa has a strong background in organizational strategy that includes writing policy, recruitment of high-performing teams, IT leadership, and customer service. In her current role, Lisa drives human resources and information technology programs, practices, processes, and policies, including organizational development, employee relations, employee engagement and satisfaction, performance management, and compensation analysis.
Prior to this position, Lisa served as Vice President of Human Resources at CommQuest Services for 9 years where she oversaw human resources, IT, and marketing. While at CommQuest, she grew the staff from 80 to 450 during her tenure, and worked to assist in developing a strategic plan through mergers and acquisitions. She has also worked in various industries in the capacity of staffing, sales, and international customer service, which gives her a unique background of understanding various business models.
She is a long-time certified member (SHRM-CP) of the Society of Human Resource Management, where she has served on the board at the State and local levels, and currently serves on the Stark Tuscarawas Workforce Development and Leadership Stark County Boards. Lisa also works part-time as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Business at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. She also won Crain’s Cleveland 2023 Excellence in HR Awards in 2023. Lisa earned her MBA from University of Northwestern Ohio and her BS from Kent State University. She and her husband, Matt, have three grown children, 4 grandchildren, and live in Alliance on a 38-acre tree farm.
